Newsmith highlights washing and automation product developments and growing capability at Interpack 2014
Extensive expertise and experience in the supply and installation of washing and automation equipment used worldwide across the baking and chocolate production sectors are being highlighted on the Newsmith stand at Interpack 2014 (Hall 04 C20). Importantly, the company is using this year’s event to showcase both its own equipment and system designs alongside those of its strategic partners who enhance the capability of the company to meet a wide range of application needs in the industry.
In the spotlight will be an upgraded version of its highly successful Batch Galaxy chocolate mould washing and drying system. “Providing highly efficient washing of chocolate moulds and other related equipment, the latest version offers lower energy costs, reduced water consumption and simplified operation and maintenance – benefits that will be recognised by all producers in the field,” says John Glover, Sales Manager at Newsmith.
The manufacture and processing of chocolate and bakery products are also enhanced by the company through its recent acquisition of Hiley Engineering. The well-established name – particularly for bakery conveyor systems – is now a key part of the Newsmith offer and will be represented on the stand by equipment that includes a latest generation product conveyor bend, straight conveyor and a flavouring and coating drum – the latter fully operational at the show.
“Vision systems, bagging and slicing equipment from our North American strategic partner LeMatic will also be represented as will proofers, ovens and coolers manufactured by Spooner Industries of the UK, who are also a key part of our worldwide capability.”
The main Newsmith focus at the show is on its broad capability and proven track record in meeting a wide range of equipment needs in both chocolate manufacturing and baking sectors.
“We believe it is important that we tailor every installation to meet exact customer needs – from the simplest stand-alone unit to the largest turn-key project. We are confident that the details and equipment on stand will demonstrate our commitment to this principle, and the proven quality of the systems that we both manufacture and supply,” concludes John Glover.
